Who We Are

Founded by Sherrie Balcioni in 2016, Kinship K9 is a dedicated team of pet loving caretakers and trainers, located in Lodi, CA.

I have been an animal lover from childhood and started participating in AKC competitive events near age 10, starting with my Irish Setter, Mia, who I showed in AKC competitively and I haven’t looked back since. I am currently training my 4th Schutzhund/IGP dog, a two year old German Shepherd, named Griff. I enjoy training all breeds and sizes of dogs and especially enjoy bonding with them through obedience and play.  I truly believe in training the dog in front of you and just like humans, dogs have different learning styles too and we must adjust and teach to that style. I find it very rewarding to see a dog grow and learn and reach it’s potential. I very much enjoy working with the dogs in my care and their families and I really can’t imagine doing anything else.
